I found it! A frozen Diet Food that I Could Eat Every Day by Lean Cuisine!

I really hate diet food. It doesn’t taste good, doesn’t look good, and doesn’t stay with you for more than a couple of hours.

That is, UNTIL I came upon this Lean Cuisine by accident:  Mushroom Mezzaluna Ravioli.

This is a picture that I took on my i-phone of how this looks when it’s done cooking in the microwave.

Description: Ravioli filled with portobello & button mushrooms, romano& ricotta cheeses in a creamy marsala wine sauce with spinach & red peppers

I would challenge Olive Garden to come up with a better tasting item than this. I’ve only eaten at Olive Garden a few times and, while their food  is not a favorite of mine, this meal puts their meals to shame.

So,…back to this ravioli. it is simply delicious. I can’t say more than that. It’s one of those rare frozen meals where it looks better in person than on the package.

I used a coupon on this and, I believe that I only spent a couple of dollars for this meal.

Plus…it’s delicious! I have stocked up on these every time I go to Safeway.

This particular meal is part of the Lean Cuisine ‘Culinary Collection’.

At 290 calories,  it comes in at 8 points on Weight Watchers.

Have you tried this? What was your opinion?

  1. Love Lean Cuisine — used to stock up on them when I was working. They have some really good choices. I would have a soup, salad or vegetable and a fruit with one and I felt full and satisfied. I followed WW for years and fell off the wagon. I need to get back there 🙁 .

    1. Hi Robin:

So nice to hear from you.

I do think that Lean Cuisine has the best tasting frozen meals (except for Jenny Craig); the worst tasting are those healthy ones with all the organic stuff. lol.
